Friday Clicks [issue 3]

I know this is my only blog of the week.. However, my fiance left this week for her first 10-week physical therapy internship. That means all my free time was with her. It was well worth it. I did manage to pull some links together, though! So enjoy!

  • For some reason, this dude thought it was necessary to steal 40,000 hotel coat hangers. Yeah, you read that right.
  • Does language and vocabulary influence culture? Wall Street Journal with the article.
  • Extremely thought provoking public art. I’ve read a lot about military suicide lately…
  • Think the U.S.-Mexico border is a dangerous place to be? Think again.
  • I live in the farm-heavy Midwest so this NPR article about the difficulties of making a living as a farmer caught my attention.
  • There was a really awful chemical spill in Hungary this week. It’s flooding towns and killing people. Absolutely Horrific. Here’s a photo gallery as well. The red stuff is toxic chemicals. Think about that for a second and pray for Hungary.

That’s all I got this week. Enjoy your weekend!
